Try your hand at sgraffito, the art of carving designs into pre-made, leather-hard teapots. Use your own creativity to sketch a design inspired by flora and fauna. Instructor Sharon Guzman will provide all supplies and return the finished, glazed, and fired teapots to Adkins once complete.

Meet Your Instructor
Sharon Guzman is a local potter, based in Caroline County. She sells her work and teaches workshops all over Maryland. Sharon fires student work in her studio, which is located in the middle of the woods on her property. It is full of native trees of the Eastern Shore, and is the story behind her business name, Forest Fired Pottery.
