Did you know you can create a beautiful ceramic mug without a pottery wheel? All you need is a slab of clay and a handful of tools to make your mug. We'll use a variety of wooden stamps and rolling pins to create the texture you choose. We may even find something on the grounds of Adkins to add to your design. There is nothing like holding a warm mug of cider, tea, or coffee in the upcoming cooler months. If your curiosity is piqued, please join us! The pictures shown are examples. Your mug will be uniquely yours. All materials included; votives will be fired and glazed at home by instructor Sharon Guzman and returned to the Arboretum for pickup within 4-6 weeks.
