Join us for a hands-on workshop with Justinian Dispenza, where we'll share information about the native owl species in Maryland, why owls are an essential part of our local ecosystem, the fascinating biology of owls, and why they’re great to have around.
We’ll finish the course by assembling our own owl nesting boxes to take home, as well as discuss the best places to hang them. All materials will be provided.

Justinian Dispenza is an award winning environmental film maker, avid gardener, and founder of the Eastern Shore Permaculture Institute. Originally his 'Covid lockdown' project, it has blossomed into a growing community of sustainability focused people working to build a greener future on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond.
