Spring Nature Journaling – Spring 2026

Create a personal interpretation of what you see, know, and think about nature in this three-session series with fine artist and Maryland Master Naturalist Diane DuBois Mullaly. Each class includes a short talk, a demonstration, and time on the Arboretum trails to journal what’s in bloom. This is an outdoor program, so dress for the weather.

Students may opt to purchase materials at the time of registration, or bring their own materials from home.

Meet Your Guide

Diane DuBois Mullaly is an award-winning fine artist, Maryland Master Naturalist and trained docent. With her keen eye for color and design, and her endless curiosity about everything in nature, Diane helps people find delightful connections between art and science in the great outdoors.
