All are welcome to attend a reception celebrating Wood Works, an outdoor exhibition of sculptures and poems by Howard & Mary McCoy. This free event begins with refreshments in the Visitor's Center, followed by a sculpture and poetry walk led by the artists.
Created with playful humor, the McCoys’ collaborative vine sculptures invite Visitors to enjoy an intimate look at the forest’s trees and understory plants, while Mary’s poems celebrate the beauty and interconnected life of the flora and fauna of the Arboretum’s woods.
Wood Works will be on show in the Arboretum’s forest from June 1–September 30, 2026.
