Woodcock Walk
Thursday, March 14, 6 p.m.
Join birder Jim Wilson for an evening walk to look and listen for American woodcocks. Early March to mid-May is the season when this small shorebird displays and mates during short periods at dawn and dusk. Sometimes referred to as the timberdoodle, American woodcocks are the only species of woodcock native to North America.
