The Northern Cardinal is the most popular bird in the U.S. Seven states have it as their state bird. It belongs to the family Cardinalidae, which comprises 14 other species that breed in the U.S. This class will cover basic facts about the Cardinal and then delve into its lifestyle, breeding, habitat, range, and diet. It will also provide a brief overview of the other members of the Cardinalidae family.
