Maryland's Eastern Shore has experienced tremendous change over time. Do you know that the dinosaur Astrodon thrived here in the Early Cretaceous? Or that Woodland Indians harvested tulip trees for their dugout canoes and settlers used pokeberries to make ink? Homeschoolers will explore Eastern Shore history through exciting hands-on activities, including target practice with handcrafted bows and arrows, natural dye making, and a model archaeological dig.
Advance registration is required for planning purposes. Classes will largely be held outdoors; students should dress for the weather.
**Note: You will be asked upon checkout to create an account. This is optional and is not required to process payment.**
