'Lucerne' is a cultivar of blue-eyed grass that grows to 8" tall in full to part sun. The blue flowers with yellow centers and gray/blue strap-like leaves make their appearance in May to June. It can re-seed aggressively. Good for water edges, border fronts and garden edges. Deer resistant.

Narrow-leaf blue-eyed grass is the most common blue-eyed grass of the eastern U.S. It is native to moist meadow and open woodland ranging from eastern Canada and the U.S. west to Texas and Minnesota. Attracts bees and butterflies.
