Schizachyrium scoparium 'Blue Heaven' (little bluestem)

Little bluestem, a clumping grass, displays a wide range of colors with its fine textured foliage. Emerging a clear blue-green and maturing into rusts, purples, and oranges in the fall. Found in dry to moist soils it grows to about 3' tall in full sun. Good for planting in masses, perennial borders, and wild gardens, and meadows. 'Blue Heaven' features pinkish foliage in the summer that turns coppery in the fall. It has an upright and more rigid habit.
