Open Studio for Graphite and/or Colored Pencil with Sarah Saltus

Fee: $30 members/$40 non-members
This class allows those enrolled in the Certificate Program to work on art pieces in progress for submission to their Certificate Program Portfolio. During each session, the student can discuss their plan for the Portfolio and its execution and review the best steps for achieving their Portfolio goals with the instructor. Analysis, feedback, and critique will be offered, as well as hands-on technique and application from the instructor, to guide the works-in-progress further and help the student surpass any hurdles impeding progress toward completing their Portfolio.

Sarah Saltus earned certificates in botanical art and natural science illustration at the New York Botanical Garden, where she taught drawing, colored pencils, and watercolor. She has taught and exhibited widely in the Mid-Atlantic and New England.
Advance registration is required for all programs and events. This helps with planning and lets us contact you if programs are canceled. Many of our instructors are from out of town, and programs with insufficient enrollment may be canceled several days in advance.
