New Moon Friday - April 1

Friday, April 1, 2022
7:30–9 p.m.
Fee: $5 members/$10 non-members/free for ages 18 & under

When the sun and moon align, the moon is invisible from Earth, creating the darkest sky of the month, or the “New Moon.” This is the perfect time to observe stars and the Milky Way, and the Arboretum is one of the best “dark sky” locations in our area. Local stargazers will be on hand to provide insight into the cosmos, and we’ll provide hot chocolate to keep you warm and engaged.

Dress for the weather and consider bringing your own red-light flashlight, telescope, folding chair, and/or binoculars. Our supplies are limited!

**Note: You will be asked upon checkout to create an account. This is optional and is not required to process payment or to register.**
