Learn to create a personal interpretation of what you see, know, and feel about nature. This all-outdoor class includes a talk, short demo, and walk to explore and journal what you see on the trails of the Arboretum. All artistic skill levels are welcome. Please, dress for the weather.

Students may opt to purchase materials at the time of registration, or bring their own materials from home. Advance registration is required.


Meet Your Instructor

Diane DuBois Mullaly is an award-winning fine artist, Maryland Master Naturalist and trained docent. With her keen eye for color and design, and her endless curiosity about everything in nature, Diane helps people find delightful connections between art and science in the great outdoors.
