'Greenleaf' American holly (3 gallon)
'Greenleaf' is an upright, pyramidal version of the American holly, a grand tree in maturity growing 20-30' tall. It is a great tree for wildlife cover and the deer do not usually bother them. They bloom creamy white flowers in May that give way to bright red berries in the fall. It is best to plant this tree in moist, well-drained soils, in an area that is protected from cold winter winds and from hot afternoon sun.
