'Tuscan Sun' is a dwarf cultivar packing all the beauty of ox eye sunflower into a stout 1 to 1.5 foot tall plant! It produces yellow blooms with gold centers from June to September. A great option for border or container gardens.
Ox-eye sunflower is native to eastern and central North America. In the wild, it is found in wooded areas and tallgrass prairie, and sometimes along roadsides. Attracts hummingbirds. Supports conservation biological control by attracting insects that prey upon insect pests. Host plant for the clearwing moth.
