'Pink Profusion' is a cultivar of Bowman's root with star-like pink flowers in May, June, and July. 'Pink Profusion' was introduced by the Mt. Cuba Center in 1997. Bowman's root is native to eastern North America. In Maryland, it occurs mainly in rich woods of the western mountains.
