If you're in your 20s or 30s, enjoy being outdoors, and would like to connect with other like-minded young adults, consider joining the first of many Branching Out Walks.

Led by a young member of the Adkins Arboretum community, these casual group walks will take you through native forests, meadows, gardens, and wetlands. Future walks will take place every first Saturday and third Thursday of the month and are posted to the Program & Events Calendar.

Meet new people, expand your community, and recharge in nature.

Advance registration is appreciated.

*The first Branching Out Walk takes place on May 10, during the Native Plant Café event at Adkins Arboretum. Both the walk and the event are free.

Meet walk leader, Madison Palmer, at the picnic tables behind the Visitor's Center at 10:30 am. After the walk, stay and enjoy the event. Coffee, pastries, and other goodies will be available for purchase from Craft Bakery & Night Kitchen Coffee. Shop native plants and consult with native plant experts who will be on-hand to answer questions.
