Celebrate the benefits and beauty of native plants at an inspiration-filled morning at Adkins Arboretum.
Shop a beautiful array of native plants in-person, chat with fellow plant people, savor fresh coffee and pastries, and attend expert-led talks and demonstrations. Learn from plant experts how natives can enhance your home garden while supporting biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. Then, take a relaxing stroll on the trails to view thriving native plants in their natural habitats.
This event is free to attend, but advance registration is appreciated.
SCHEDULE
9 am: Welcome! Enter through the Visitor's Center where our staff will orient you to the event. Continue through the Gift Shop to the patio where Craft Bakery & Night Kitchen Coffee will be selling coffee and fresh pastries.
Beyond the patio you'll find a curated selection of native plants including red columbine (Aquilegia canadensis), wild geranium (Geranium maculatum), woodland phlox (Phlox divaricata 'Blue Moon'), foamflower (Tiarella 'Running Tapestry'), and several more beautiful species.
Native plant experts will be on-hand to answer questions, and volunteers will be available to help transport your plants to the parking lot.
