Bottlebrush buckeye is a bold plant with big tropical like leaves and white upright panicles in June to July. Dense and suckering, this shrub or small tree is a great addition to the full shade to lighter shade garden. It is large - growing 8-12' tall by the same wide and prefers moist loamy soils. Good for massing or clumping in borders, as a specimen plant. Pruning is unnecessary. Rabbit and deer proof.
