The Annual Juried Art Show is part of Adkins Arboretum’s ongoing exhibition series of work on natural themes by regional artists. The show is open to original two- and three-dimensional fine arts in all mediums, including outdoor sculpture and installations.
The theme of the show, Discovering the Native Landscapes of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, celebrates the Arboretum’s mission of conservation. The Leon Andrus Awards, named in honor of the Arboretum’s first benefactor, will be given for first and second places.
The Juried Art Show reception will celebrate the artists whose work was chosen for the exhibit, and the Leon Andurs Awards will be announced. All are welcome to attend this free event. Meet the artists, the Juror, and enjoy the artwork. Light refreshments will be served.
