This workshop will guide you step-by-step through the construction of your very own Wave Hill Chair, the iconic and timeless red chairs found dotting the landscape at Adkins Arboretum. The chairs are made from Western Red Cedar. (Fully constructed Wave Hill Chairs retail for $425.)
Students do not need to be experienced carpenters to participate in and enjoy this class. Please bring a fully charged cordless drill. All other materials will be provided.

Meet Your Instructor
Dan Benarcik currently oversees the Courtyard Gardens at Chanticleer Garden. He judges for the Philadelphia Flower Show and has worked on extended assignment at Lotusland, Long Vue House, and Ayerlies Garden. He has written for many publications, including Fine Gardening, Horticulture, and Martha Stewart Living. He is also a skilled craftsman.
