Join Mecca Lewis for a guided tour that explores the lives of freedom seekers through the Arboretum's restored landscape. The tour will begin with a screening of the documentary film Rooted Wisdom: Nature’s Role in the Underground Railroad and continue on the trails, investigating the methods self-liberators used for concealment, nourishment, and evasion as they escaped enslavement.
