Spend an early-Fall afternoon surrounded by the beauty of nature with Swamp Donkey, an electric newgrass band bringing a bold mix of original songs, unexpected covers, and high-energy sound. Grab a drink, find your spot, and move between music and meadow in an incomparable setting.
This year, food and drinks will be available for purchase from Ten Eyck Brewing Company and T & D Fusions. Non-alcoholic options will be also available.
Rhythm & Roots (formerly Beer Garden) is a family-friendly event that invites relaxing with friends in the fresh air, sampling local food and beer, and enjoying a great live band, all while supporting Adkins Arboretum's mission of environmental stewardship.
Stretch your legs during intermission with a stroll around the South Meadow, or any of Adkins' five miles of trails. Lawn games and bubbles will be available for kids of all ages.
Preregistration is strongly encouraged. Tickets are limited and fees increase by $5 on the day of the event.
