Join us for a hands-on workshop with Justinian Dispenza, where he’ll talk about bats, our very misunderstood flying friends. He'll share which native bats live in Maryland, why bats are an important part of our ecosystem, and we’ll finish the course by assembling our own bat boxes to take home, as well as discuss the best places to hang them. All materials will be provided.

Justinian Dispenza is an award winning environmental film maker, avid gardener, and founder of the Eastern Shore Permaculture Institute. Originally his 'Covid lockdown' project, it has blossomed into a growing community of sustainability focused people working to build a greener future on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond.
