early goldenrod (1 quart)

As the common name suggests, early goldenrod is one of the first goldenrods to bloom in July and August, providing an important nectar source for pollinators. It grows 2–4' tall. Plant this in full sun, in dry to medium soils. It tolerates clay soil. This plant is great for naturalized perennial borders and meadow gardens. Tolerates deer.

Early goldenrod is native to eastern and central North America. It is found in open sandy soils, disturbed areas, and fields. Attracts bees and butterflies.
