What has big eyes, a furry body, and fangs? EEK! It's a spider! What animal makes silk stronger than steel wire and eats 75 pounds of insects a year? WOW! It's a spider! Join us in discovering the hidden talents of the misunderstood spider. We'll hunt for the various webs these amazing engineers create during a walk around the Arboretum and learn how each beautiful design is used to catch prey. Games and crafts will highlight the important roles spiders play in our ecosystem. We hope to change your EEKs! to WOWs!
