NEW OFFERING - description coming soon!

Dwarf Chinquapin Oak is a small tree or large shrub reaching 12-25' in height and width.  This species does well in full sun with well drained soils that are sandy, rocky, or even loamy, and can tolerate drought once established.  Acorns are produced after just a few years, compared with the later onset in other oak species.  Host plant for the larvae of hundreds of butterfly and moth species.  Its acorns are a food source for numerous bird and mammal species.
