Physostegia virginiana 'Vivid' (obedient plant)

'Vivid' is a compact, clump-forming obedient plant cultivar. It stays shorter at about 1-2 feet tall and has bright pink tubular flower spikes. It is a good choice for a sunny, moist area.

Obedient plant is native to much of the U.S. It is found in river banks, wet thickets, prairies, and swamps. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
