Penstemon digitalis 'Husker's Red' (beardtongue)

A must have for every garden the maroon-colored foliage and the delicate white blooms can't be beat. It forms a nice sized clump and can grow to 3' tall. It loves full sun and moist to dry soils.

Baltimore Checkerspot butterflies use this plant as a food source for their caterpillars. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, songbirds. Good for massed groupings or as a garden accent.
