Lobelia siphilitica 'Alba' (white cardinal flower)

This white flowering form of the great blue lobelia reaches 2-3' in height and 1 1/2' in width.  Similar to the blue lobelia, it is stunning planted in masses, or it can be interspersed with other species.  It grows well in full to part shade and is fairly adaptable to different soil types in average to moist conditions.  Supports bees, butterflies, and occasionally hummingbirds.
