This two-day workshop with Lee D’Zmura will introduce the art of illumination and botanical illumination. The focus will be on the processes and skills necessary to create illuminated and botanical letters. Projects will be completed using gold paint. Two styles will be studied, and the last day will include a demonstration of French matting and a discussion of botanical illumination. Although watercolor is the traditional medium, color pencil will be demonstrated.
