Pearly everlasting is a herbaceous perennial or biennial with long-blooming white and yellow flowers. Reaching 1-3' in height and 1-2' in width, this clump-forming plant works well in borders and along walkways as well as in more open spaces such as meadows. Plant in full sun or light shade where soils are moist but well-drained. This species attracts bees and butterflies such as the painted lady, and is known to be resistant to rabbit browse and drought.
