This 6-session program meets the following Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Age-appropriate reading and writing activities are required. Students should dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a pencil to class. **Advance registration is required.**
Global climate change and its impacts on people and resources pose serious challenges. The actions we take today will influence the path of future greenhouse gas emissions and the magnitude of warming. They will also affect our ability to respond and adapt to changes. This program seeks to educate the rising generation of environmental stewards about the fundamental issues of climate science, the impacts of climate change on society and on global resources, and mitigation and adaptation strategies.
