This 10-week program meets Tuesdays, February 14 to April 18, 1–2:30 p.m.
Homeschoolers will delve into the science of birds while developing STEM skills in an outdoor, hands-on learning environment. Areas of study include bird physiology, adaptations, identification, flight, migration, habitat, and behavior. Highlights such as owl pellet dissection, live bird cam observations, guest speakers, bluebird box monitoring, and weekly postings to ebird.org will make this an unforgettable learning experience.
**Ornithology for Homeschool Students is designed for students in grades 6 and up. Age-appropriate reading and writing activities are required. Students should dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a pencil to class.**
