Friday, July 31, 2020, 10–11 p.m.
This program is free for members and free with $5 Arboretum admission for non-members.
Phenology is the study of seasonal cycles such as the migration of birds and the flowering of trees. Arboretum Land Steward Kathy Thornton will discuss how tracking phenology over time teaches us how changes in climate and precipitation alter plant and animal responses.
This is the second in a series of three phenology programs. Additional sessions are Friday, April 3 and Friday, November 6.
**This and all Adkins Arboretum Stewardship programs count as continuing education for Master Gardeners and Maryland Master Naturalists.**
**Note: You will be asked upon checkout to create an account. This is optional and is not required to process payment or to register.**
