Sunday, June 10, 1–4 p.m.

In this three-hour workshop with Karen Klinedinst, you’ll learn iPhone-specific image capture techniques and how to use the Apple native telephoto lens in the newer generation iPhones. We’ll also explore special add-on telephoto and macro lenses and test new skills on a photo walk in the Arboretum’s flowering meadows. Prerequisite: A working knowledge of your iPhone 6S later, with a special emphasis on the iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. A list of iPhone apps that we’ll work with in the workshop with will be emailed to you prior to the workshop.. Karen is a landscape photographer based in Baltimore. She holds a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. Since 2011, she has been using her iPhone exclusively to photograph and express the landscape. Her landscape iPhoneography has been exhibited widely.
