Foxes and rabbits and frogs, oh my! Budding scientists will explore the Arboretum’s wetland, forest, stream, and meadow habitats to study native animals of Maryland. From squirrels to skinks and frogs to fritillaries, this eight-week program will use a hands-on approach to develop key scientific skills including observation, experimentation, and documentation. Scientific equipment will be part of the learning process. Advance registration is required.
This program is for students ages 6–8. Outside time will be a part of every class; dress for the weather!
