Tuesdays, February 26–April 30, 2019 1–2:30 p.m.
Our youngest homeschoolers will explore the world of native plants inside and outside the classroom. Areas of study will include plant life cycles, parts, adaptations, and identification, as well as soil composition. Students will conduct experiments, plant seeds, use microscopes, dissect plants, and make observations. They’ll also visit the Funshine Garden to assist with spring planting.
Plant Power! is for students ages 6–8. Students should come prepared with a folder, paper, a writing utensil, comfortable walking shoes, and clothes that may get a little dirty. Outside time will be a part of every class; dress for the weather!
