A completely dry form of felting, needle felting is the art of sculpting wool with special barbed needles, usually on a "platform" of foam rubber or foam core. In this introdutory workshop led by Laura Rankin, students will learn several basic techniques and how to use templates for flat pieces. Workshop projeccts may include acorn ornaments and flat ornaments and/or brooches. All materials are provided.
